San Diego County Bicycle Coalition (SDBC) recommends the following free online Traffic Skills 101 course from the League of American Bicyclists:

The estimated time for completion is 4 hours.  For hands-on training, please see the list of available courses on the SDBC Adult Bicyclist Education page (we recommend completing Urban Bicycling, Part 2- On Road: Street Skills course).
